When we see through His eyes we see truths that we would never see otherwise. Jesus looked at tax collectors, prostitutes and sinners and saw apostles, disciples, evangelist's... Think about it... Matthew was a tax collector. If you and I had looked at Matthew without seeking God in prayer (as we tend to do) we would have looked at him and seen a tax collector. Jesus looked at Matthew and saw a man who would someday sit among eleven other men on thrones, ruling the earth under Him on that great Day when the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our God.
